When do you operate?
Generally between 1st April and October 31 st each year however this may fluctuate due to operational requirements.
How can I make a booking?
Phone, email or text up to 60 days in advance. To secure your booking, payment can be made in advance by credit card or bank transfer. We will send you confirmation once payment has been received. Payment can also be made upon arrival however your requested date / time of departure is not guaranteed unless prepayment is made 7 days in advance.
What is your cancellation policy for prepaid bookings?
50% refund for any cancellation 24 to 48 hrs in advance. Nil refund for cancellation less than 24 hrs in advance.
Nil refund if a passenger is denied boarding due to a passenger’s weight exceeding 136kg.
Nil refund if the combined weight of the group exceeds that quoted upon booking and results in the aircraft exceeding its maximum take-off weight.
Full refund if a flight is cancelled due to weather or operational issues.
How many people can fit on the helicopter?
3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children with a maximum combined weight of 77kg. The maximum combined weight of all passengers on each flight is approximately 280kg although this may be reduced due to operational considerations. The maximum weight of a single passenger is 136kg.
Infants less than 3 years old may be carried on the knee restrained with a baby belt.
Does the helicopter have doors?
The rear 2 seats have doors, but the pilot and front passenger seats do not.
What should I take on the flight?
If you are on a scenic flight only, you won’t need to bring anything except your camera. If you are in the front seat, your camera or iPhone must have a neck or wrist strap. We provide a neck strap for your iPhone if required.
If you are booked on the ground tour, bring a wide brimmed hat and 600 ml of water. We recommend wearing long pants and closed in shoes. If you choose shorts, your legs may be exposed to sticks and spinifex. Also, grass seeds will penetrate your socks however this can be overcome by wearing sandals or thongs. The risk of snakebite is extremely low at this time of year however it should be factored into your choice of attire.
