15-Minute Scenic Flight

$175 per person

Be among the first to enter this remote region, where rugged outback beauty stretches in every direction. While Kakadu waterfalls often remain closed until July, this hidden part of the Northern Territory is fully accessible from April to October — giving you a unique head start on adventure.

Since our base at Heartbreak Hotel is located just a 3 to 4 minute flight from the Lost City, even this very affordable short flight will give you a great appreciation for the awesome beauty of one of Australia's least known natural wonders. We'll even throw a very brief landing in at the Lost City as its scale and grandeur is best appreciated from the ground.

30-Minute Scenic Flight

$550 per person

The Cape Crawford Lost City is over 20 miles long so why not cruise along half its length with this breathtaking flight over canyons, archways, pillars, caves, overhangs, balancing rocks, keyholes and lush springs? At the southern end we turn around a beautiful waterfall* before heading home to soak it all up again from an even better angle.

*Water will usually only "fall" over some waterfalls until around mid May however the drop pools remain year round

60-Minute Flight

$1,100 per person

Cover all of the Vista Explorer then continue along the whole length of the Lost City down to Lost City Valley where the sandstone spires rise on both sides of the chopper. From here we make our way to a second majestic waterfall* before turning around and retracing our steps back home.

*Water will usually only "fall" over some waterfalls until around mid May however the drop pools remain year round.

We offer an optional ground tour with our Vista Explorer and Outback Epic scenic flight options. You will be amazed and often lost for words at the beauty and diversity of the Lost City's unique flora, fauna and geology. Natural springs amongst the towering sandstone spires support a diverse range of flowering plants, insects, reptiles, bats, marsupials and birds. Your pilot guides have tertiary qualifications in biological and environmental sciences and will do their best to showcase this amazing natural wonder. The ground tour is on flat terrain and could easily be completed in 15 minutes however such is the beauty and grandeur that we allow guests 1 to 2 hours to take it all in.
